About this opportunity… **
As an Operations Support Officer you will act as subject matter expert for CRM systems used within UK Operations at the British Red Cross, providing practical guidance to users providing the first point of contact, offering practical support, answering user questions and providing information and support to assure system best practice including business processes, documentation and the correction of data issues.
You will be required to deliv er effective training, share knowledge and best practice to enable our staff and volunteers to be effective in supporting people in crisis, while maintaining excellent working knowledge on the applications supported and escalating system bugs and defects to the Operations Support Manager.
In partnership with service leads, you will promote the value and benefits of the systems as a means of managing operational delivery and providing insight to drive improvement and innovation, while supporting the implementation of new training methods and tools to increase the effectiveness of training and reliance on practical support.
You will work collaboratively to improve data quality and awareness in the user community and help lead a Community of Practice, helping super users to provide local and accessible practical support and training.
This role might be for you if…
You have experience of training and coaching indivi duals and small groups, can demonstrate competence in facilitating group and individual learning and are confident supporting system users from a varying background of technical skill and experience
You have knowledge of a variety of training techniques including presentation skills, distance learning, workshop facilitation and individual coaching along with strong communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision while adhering to deadlines and targets
You are highly organised with effective time management skills and are able to demonstrate experience in prioritising and scheduling workload, assigning actions, monitoring progress and meeting deadlines
You have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint along with experience of CRM Dynamics 365 administration
If you have experience of process mapping and improvement techniques and of why business process models and data definitions are critical to system design and implementation this will be a distinct advantage.
