International Association for Relief and Development (Onsur) is a non-governmental organization registered in Turkey N° (27-018-178) dealing with the Relief and development projects through the empowerment of local communities to ensure a decent life, Founded at the beginning of 2012. ONSUR works through the main office is located in Gaziantep’s province Turkey, in addition to execution offices in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Turkey.
Position: Graphic Designer
Report To: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Purpose Of Department ( Marketing & Communications ):
In close cooperation with the other parts of the organisation, the Marketing & Communication Department develops Onsur’s branding, messaging and marketing strategy.
The department helps the entire Onsur family to convey key messages consistently and coherently to internal and external individuals and the humanitarian and development community.
The department provides the various Onsur stakeholders with access to adequate, timely and high quality information, material and resources to bolster their ability to convey advocacy and fund-raising messages through visual media, publications, campaigns and websites.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for delivering high quality, innovative and creative (offline and online) graphic design collateral that embodies that Onsur brand and supports exposure of the organisation’s great work around the globe. The post-holder will be working on design material for a variety of areas of the Family, and works particularly closely with the Marketing & Communication Manager and PR officer as well as internal fundraising Partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design posters for events and tours
Create all promotional materials for projects & campaigns
Develop and design stewardship reports for donors
Work towards implementing creative and innovative designs that elevate the brand of Onsur with targeted Audiences
Consult within the marketing team and across the organization to determine the nature and content of design needed
Communicate with other departments and the Marketing Manager regularly to ensure deadlines and quality standards are being met
Acquire content and develop unique designs for campaign material and electronic productions such as, newsletters as well as other advertising/productions.
o Experience of successful graphic design in a corporation or an INGO, with usage of content on digital platforms as well as for fundraising purposes
o Experience in storyboarding and presenting ideas creatively
o Experience in specialist design & editing software, i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere
o Familiarity with digital tools – Pinterest, Instagram, WordPress
Knowledge and skills:
o Excellent design and creative and innovation
o Strong understanding of what it takes to deliver successfully to a customer
o Strong understanding of how to reflect organisational branding within graphic design work
o Strong ability to work calmly under pressure to tight deadlines and balance competing priorities
