ALAMEEN for Humanitarian Support is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

ALAMEEN is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

ALAMEEN also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance

About The Role:

ALAMEEN is seeking a Grants Manager who will provide high-level grants management and administration to achieve project goals, working with partner organizations of all levels.

S/he will ensure effective and efficient grant management and design flexible, innovative, and responsive mechanisms targeting the regions and actors identified by the program team.

S/he will also ensure that managing and managing grants is policy-compatible and will build the capacity of beneficiaries and staff making grants to the Department.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the grant management team, the central contact point for grant implementation and closing.

· Organizing and coordinating the workflow of grants and associated staff activities.

· Issuing and reviewing grant authorizations using the activity cycle flow chart.

· Close coordination with program staff to ensure timely administration and monitoring of grant agreements.

· Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, and Programs staff to facilitate grantmaking meetings, monitoring, and closing grant activities.

· Facilitate any required coordination with the project technical and M&E teams for the implementation of the project sub-mechanism

· Monitor potential risks and actively engage with the project team to mitigate risks as they arise

Ability to:

· Plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and evaluate complex program activities and diverse staff

· Apply principles and techniques to problems and issues

· Build coalitions among groups with differing needs and objectives

· Analyze and evaluate data and information, and make appropriate recommendations

Basic Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.

· Minimum (3-4) years of experience in Grants Management**

· Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing grant compliance procedures and measures**.**

· Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with local partners**.**

· Excellent knowledge in data management

· Must be fluent in English and Arabic
