This position serves as the alter-ego of M/MPBP Director. The incumbent assists in supervising, coordinating and managing the Bureau’s and the Agency’s Operating Expense (OE) and Capital Investment Fund (CIF) budget planning and implementation; management policy formulation, rulemaking and de-regulation; operational performance; partner appeals, assessment and debarment; and administrative management services.
The Office also provides leadership for diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility as well as employee engagement; and, developing and managing metrics and dashboards to assess program effectiveness and progress.

Has overall responsibility, as well as delegated authority, for the oversight and administration of broad, emerging, and/or critical agency programs or operations in the area of management and operations. Primarily responsible for the direction and management of large-scale Agency programs, operations, and initiatives.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with various high-level individuals, including Members of Congress and their staff, other legislative and executive agencies, executives of major corporations and non-governmental organizations as well as distinguished members of the public.
