Public Partnerships Manager, P-4, Fixed Term, Public Partnerships Division, Washington D.C.

The Public Partnerships Manager reports to Senior Advisor, International Financial Institutions (IFIs) Team, Public Partnerships Division. S/he will be expected to work primarily on the World Bank portfolio. S/he will take a leading role in negotiations of World Bank legal agreements and templates, including highly complex project agreements negotiated at HQ level, in close coordination with OED legal, DFAM, OIAI, SD and other relevant teams. S/he will guide and support country offices on World Bank legal agreement templates, and review and clear agreements negotiated at country level. S/he will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting World Bank’s financial rules and regulations, as well as environmental and social standards and other legal obligations that apply to the World Bank’s operations. S/he will lead on developing World Bank specific guidance, tools, and templates to support implementation of environmental and social (and other) requirements for World Bank-financed programmes. S/he will serve as a grant manager over the lifetime of World Bank-financed projects, tracking implementation progress, funds utilization, and timely receipt of required reports.
